Job Postings

Most school library positions in public schools are advertised through the same channels as teaching positions. Check with individual states or school districts for job postings. Also check with placement services provided by library schools in areas where you hope to work. Other sites for information on school library jobs include:

The websites of placement centers at universities generally also provide job hunting advice. The local library should have books on resume and cover letter writing as well as interviewing. The web is filled with job hunting advice from writing cover letters to creating effective resumes.
