Beyond Words - Grants and Other Funding
If your school library has been affected by a natural disaster, fire, or act of terrorism, you may need financial assistance to recover your collection, furniture, and equipment. Below is a list of some grant programs and other funding sources for which your library may be eligible.
Beyond Words www.ala.org/aasl/disasterrelief Dollar General, in collaboration with the American Library Association (ALA), the American Association of School Librarians (AASL) and the National Education Association (NEA), is sponsoring a school library disaster relief fund for public school libraries in the states served by Dollar General. The Beyond Words fund will provide grants to public schools to replace or supplement books, media and/or library equipment in the school library setting.
