Freedom to Read Foundatin New Graduate Membership Form
The Freedom to Read Foundation is pleased to announce that it is offering free one-year memberships to students graduating from ALA-accredited MLS and MLIS programs and from school library media programs recognized by the American Association of School Librarians that are part of an educational unit accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).
Students whose graduation date is August 1, 2009 or later can download the membership form (pdf/Word) and mail, fax, or email it to the Freedom to Read Foundation. (Note: By completing and signing this form, you will be giving FTRF permission to confirm your graduation status with your educational institution.)
As benefits of their membership, the graduates will receive the Freedom to Read Foundation’s quarterly newsletter, and be eligible to vote in the annual trustee election and attend FTRF member receptions. The membership will be good through December 2010. Those graduates who are already members of the Freedom to Read Foundation will have their membership extended one year.
