Promote awareness of the unique role of academic and research libraries and their contributions to society;

Increase visibility and support for academic and research libraries and librarians;

  Help librarians better market their services on-site and online;

Member taskforce became standing committee

More than 15,000 toolkits were distributed to ACRL members and to national conference attendees.

Strategic Marketing Train the Trainer Workshops have taken place at Annual Conference and Midwinter, ACRL National Conference 2003-2005

New Best Practices in Marketing Academic and Research Libraries Award tied to @ your library
