The IRRT Public Libraries Interest Group (PLIG) will create a forum for the exchange of ideas, best practices and challenges of public libraries around the world. PLIG will work to promote the values of public libraries worldwide and encourage and advocate for awareness of international public libraries within the American Library Association.

International and United States Librarians are invited to a discussion group sponsored by the newly formed IRRT- Public Library Interest Group.
