Intellectual Freedom Round Table Electronic List
Hello. We are writing to share some news about our e-list with you.
The American Library Association's Intellectual Freedom Round Table (IFRT) Board meets at every ALA Annual Conference and Midwinter Meeting. A frequent topic of discussion is how IFRT can best serve its members. What kinds of services can or should IFRT offer?
At the 2004 Annual Conference in Orlando, we decided to make the IFRT e-list an IFRT-members-only e-list. It is our hope that all of you who are not members will choose to become members! Much of what is discussed on the e-list focuses on specific intellectual freedom topics, so participation on the e-list is a way to involve members in IFRT's mission and activities. However, even if you don't join, you can still keep up with what IFRT is doing, since read-only access is available.
