The Placement Center will be located on the second floor of the Fort Worth Convention Center. It will be open during the following days and times of the conference:
Friday, August 3 9am – 5pm
Saturday, August 4 9am – 3pm
| General Steps for Job Seekers |
Here's the process in a nutshell for using the BCALA Placement Service:
- Login.
- Register online.
- Input your resume information.
- Look at the jobs listing. New jobs will be added daily, so check often.
- Using our system, contact representatives of the organizations you are interested in interviewing with. Employers will also contact you, so check your messages often.
- If you receive a message from an employer, you should respond to each message. If the message is from an employer wanting to interview you, work with the rep. to determine a day and time to meet.
- Only employers can schedule interview space with Placement staff.
- The employer gets back to you with a confirmation of day, time and table assigned for the interview.
- Arrive on time for your interview, and be prepared to WOW the employer!

ALL FEES WILL BE WAIVED!
Here's the process in a nutshell for using the BCALA Placement Service:
- Login.
- Register online. You will be asked to agree to pay a fee. Go ahead and do so. YOU WILL NOT BE BILLED. ALL FEES WILL BE WAIVED.
- Input your job(s) information.
- View your listing by doing a search on the job listings page.
- Look at the resume information of registered job seekers. You can not view this information until you register. New people will be added daily, so check often.
- Using our system, contact people you are interesting in interviewing. Job seekers will also contact you, so check your messages often.
- If you receive a message from a job seeker, you should respond --even if it is to say that you are not interested in interviewing them at this time. If the message is from someone you are interested in interviewing, work with the candidate to determine a time to meet.
- The employer schedules interview space with Placement staff.
- The employer gets back to job seekers with a confirmation of day, time and table assigned for the interview.
