1. That GODORT request that the Superintendent of Documents ask the Cataloging and Classification Branch to study and report on the development of a keyword in context enhancement, using terms from the title and other title information fields, to appear in the printed title index which appears in the Monthly Catalog.
   
2. That GODORT request that the Superintendent of Documents ask the Cataloging and Classification Branch to study and report on the development of a monthly cumulation of the indexes to the Monthly Catalog to be issued in microform. The intent would be for this index to cumulate in increments of 5 years. We recommend that the branch consider, in conjunction with the above, whether the paper semi-annual index would still be necessary.
