Exhibit Hours and Location

The exhibits will be held June 28-July 1, 2008, at the Anaheim Convention Center, located at 800 West Katella Avenue in Anaheim.

Exhibit Hours are:
Saturday, June 28-Monday, June 30 - 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Tuesday, July 1 - 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

Please Note: Wheeled carts are not allowed on the exhibit floor. This includes carts, briefcases with wheels - any wheeled cart or bag that must be pushed or pulled. Strollers are allowed ONLY if there is a child in them at all times.

Special Events on the Exhibit Floor

SupERTuesday Closing Reception: Tuesday, July 1, 2008, Beginning at 8:00 am (Note new, earlier time!) The Closing Reception will be held throughout the Exhibits be free breakfast, and exhibitors will be offering special giveaways booths and, like last year, great prizes from the exhibitors raffled off throughout the reception. This is a great way to conference experience in Anaheim, be sure to join us!

Meet the Authors: Your opportunity to meet and get autographs from favorite adult and children's authors and illustrators.

Poster Sessions: Poster sessions give librarians the opportunity to make peer-to-peer presentations on research, innovative programs and problem solving ideas.

Silent Auction: Support ALA scholarships to deserving library school students by purchasing some of the great items up for bid at this year's ERT Silent Auction!

Library Product Spotlight will feature explanations and demonstrations of new products from ALA exhibitors that are designed to help improve your library. These presentations will take place Sunday, June 29 and Monday, June 30 from 10:00 am to 1:10 pm on the exhibit floor.

LIVE! @ your library Reading Stage

In the Exhibition Hall Saturday, Sunday & Monday, 12:00 - 4:00 pm, take a break from a day of meetings and programs and stop by the LIVE! @ your library Reading Stage in the Exhibition Hall to enjoy readings from new and favorite authors and poets, learn how to develop author programs for your library, and find new recommendations for your patrons. Each year, acclaimed and new writers grace the Reading Stage. The LIVE! @ your library Reading Stage is presented by the ALA Public Programs Office.
