EXHIBIT LOCATION AND HOURS
The exhibits will be held Friday, January 15-18, 2010 in the
Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, Halls A and B.
Exhibits will open on Friday, January 15, with a Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony at 5:15 pm preceding the All-Conference Reception on the exhibit floor from 5:30-7:30 pm.
Exhibit Hours are:
Friday, January 15, 5:30 -7:30 pm
Saturday-Sunday, January 16-17, 9:00 am -5:00 pm
Monday, January 18, 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
Please Note: Wheeled carts are not allowed on the exhibit floor- they are a trip hazard on the busy exhibit floor.
A bag/coat check is available in the Convention Center for these bags. This includes carts, briefcases with wheels and any other wheeled cart or bag that must be pushed or pulled. If you need a wheeled bag for medical reasons you will need to bring a doctor's waiver and you must request a wavier form when you check in at Registration.
Strollers are only allowed if there is a child in them at all times.
SPECIAL EVENTS ON THE EXHIBIT FLOOR
- EXHIBITS OPENING RECEPTION
Friday, January 15, 2010- 5:30 - 7:30 pm
The Friday Night Opening Reception, sponsored by the exhibitors, ERT and ALA, will be held from 5:30- 7:30 pm on the exhibit floor, and will feature food and music, as well as over 30 gifts (not limited to baskets anymore) to be given away by exhibitors on Friday only! To register to win a gift, visit the exhibitor's booth during the Opening Reception. These gifts will be raffled off Friday evening, so be ready to win! You do not need to be present to win.

- ALA/ERT AUTHOR FORUM
Friday, January 15, 2010- 4:00- 5:15 pm
The Author Forum will feature discussions with and readings from several best-selling authors.
- SPOTLIGHT ON ADULT LITERATURE
Saturday, January 16, 2010- 2:00- 4:00 pm
Sponsored by ALTAFF and ALA Conference Services
Participating publishers will feature book signings and some will give away free books and galleys in the Exhibit Hall.
- TECHNOLOGY SHOWCASE
Monday, January 18, 2010- 10:00 am- 1:10 pm
The Technology Showcase is back again this year! Join exciting companies as they highlight the latest trends in library technology. Presentations will occur simultaneously from 10:00 am- 1:10 pm. Complimentary refreshments will be served on the exhibit floor during the presentations.
