The Association for Library Service to Children (ALSC) administers:

Literary and Related Awards, including the Newbery, Caldecott, Sibert, Wilder, Carnegie, Batchelder, Belpré, Geisel, and Odyssey awards and the May Hill Arbuthnot Honor Lecture.

Children's Notable Lists, recommending exemplary books, videos, recordings, and computer software for children.

Professional Awards, including grants and fellowships to recognize our members, support their outstanding programming, and aid in their continuing education.
