Every year, American Libraries’ April issue features articles and photographs spotlighting new, expanded, and renovated library buildings. A showcase of exteriors and interiors of all kinds, this special issue features some of the best in library designs, as well as accounts of successfully completed restorations. The editors invite librarians, architects, and interior designers to share their treasures with AL’s readers.
In 2008, 27 projects were highlighted. Submissions for the 2009 facilities feature will be open in November. Watch this page, American Libraries, or AL Direct to be alerted when we are accepting submissions.
