McGorry Named Library Journal PublisherWilliam McGorry has been named executive vice president and publisher for Reed Business Information publishing group, which includes Publisher’s Weekly, Library Journal, School Library Journal, and Críticas, RBI announced October 18.McGorry, who had been the company’s executive vice president for licensing and electronic development, succeeds Joe Tessitore, who was named to the post in January 2003. A 30-year veteran of business publishing, McGorry also served at Reed as senior vice president of its television and telecommunications group; before joining RBI, he worked for Capital Cities/ABC.
