Laurie Augustine, 42, had faced up to 15 years in prison on 40 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse and aggravated criminal assault for having sex with two 16-year-olds and one 17-year-old over a two-month period in 2002. DuPage County Judge Michael Burke said Augustine would get credit for the 333 days served awaiting trial, the Chicago Sun-Times reported July 21.
Augustine, who will also be required to register as a sex offender, is scheduled to begin her sentence August 6. She will serve the two sentences of three and six years concurrently.
