LC Adds 25 Titles to National Film Registry
Librarian of Congress James H. Billington named 25 more titles to the library’s National Film Registry December 28, bringing the total number of films on the list to 400. The films, chosen by Billington in consultation with the library’s Motion Picture division staff and the National Film Preservation Board, are singled out for preservation because of their cultural, historical, or aesthetic significance. This year’s entries are:
