Library of Congress Adds 25 Titles
to National Film Registry

Librarian of Congress James H. Billington named 25 more titles to the library’s National Film Registry December 18, bringing the total number of films on the list to 325. The films, chosen by Billington in consultation with the National Film Preservation Board, are singled out for preservation because of their cultural, historical, or aesthetic significance. This year’s entries are:
