“Sailing into the Future—Charting our Destiny,” ACRL’s 13th National Conference, is just around the corner (March 31–April 1 in Baltimore). The conference will help you keep pace with important academic library issues, such as advocacy, assessment, collections, digital initiatives, information literacy, and scholarly communication. In addition to dynamic panel presentations, the conference features contributed papers, poster sessions, and roundtable discussions, as well as thought-provoking and entertaining keynote sessions.
Through the virtual conference community (included in face-to-face registration fees, or available as a stand-alone registration) you’ll have access to discussion boards, blogs, speaker materials, and more. Live Webcasts of select programs will also be offered virtually; these programs will also be available through an archive after the conference. This issue includes responses from the candidates for ALA President to a set of questions put forth by the ACRL Board of Directors. A list of ACRL members running for ALA council is also provided.
