Bookbinding exhibit
The Department of Rare Books and Special Collections in Firestone Library at Princeton University has mounted Hand Bookbindings from Special Collections in the Princeton University Library: Plain and Simple to Grand and Glorious. It is an online version of a traditional exhibit at the library between November 2002 and April 2003. There are images of more than 200 bindings divided into 26 categories by binding types and techniques. Viewers may closely examine binding details by using the magnifier function to select an area and the amount of magnification desired.

MMAA
The Midwest Media Archives Alliance (MMAA) in Chicago, Illinois offers support for Midwestern collectors of film, video, and audio materials. Recently founded by archivists Carolyn Faber and Dwight Swanson, the alliance is designed to help promote and preserve regional media collections. Its goal is to provide information and advice about care and maintenance of film, video, and audio formats, access policies and strategies, funding and revenue generation, collection promotion, and preservation principles and techniques. The founders plan for the MMAA to serve as a clearinghouse for information and resources and hope to create useful connections among individuals and organizations that hold this type of resource.
