About the Cover

The official poster for the 16th edition of the Miami Book Fair International features artwork by renowned children’s author and illustrator Rosemary Wells, who is also a national advocate for childhood literacy. The image for the poster features the characters from her children’s book, Read to Your Bunny: The Most Important 20 Minutes of Your Day, which is the centerpiece of her national campaign for children’s literacy. Miami Book Fair International will be held November 14–21, 1999, on the Wolfson Camus of Miami-Dade Community College and surrounding streets in downtown Miami. This celebration of the written word will feature author readings, book signings and lectures, culminating in a three-day outdoor street fair.
