Many libraries want to answer these questions and help authors modify publishers' copyright transfer agreements to keep key rights to their articles. Educate faculty on your campus before they transfer ownership of their intellectual output and help them understand the consequences and options. Increase your visibility on campus, your influence on the higher education and research environment, and become a respected local authority on this important scholarly communication issue. Presenters: Technical Requirements: Minimum system requirements can be found at: http://www.elluminate.com/support/faqs/min_requirements.jsp If you'd like to test your computer to make sure you can use the Elluminate classroom software on it, go to: https://www.elluminate.com/mtg.jnlp?password=configuration Speakers or a headset for listening to the presentation are required. It is recommended that you also use a microphone to ask questions/make comments. If you do not have or do not wish to use a microphone, you may ask questions through text-based chat. Registration ACRL member: $50 Group*: $295 Webcasts take place in an interactive, online classroom environment with one user/one login. If you select the group rate, one person must register, login, and keyboard during the event. A group registration allows an institution to project the Webcast to participants in the same location. Access instructions will be e-mailed to the person whose address is given at the time of registration. If you do not have an ALA ID & password, you will be asked to create one in order to register. Registration is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration opens Monday, May 21, 2007. An archived version will be made publicly available after the second event. Member rates apply to personal memberships only. Want to join ACRL or ALA? Complete the online membership form, available on the ALA Web site. If you join ALA/ACRL within five days of registering, we will adjust your fee (please fax a copy of your completed registration form to ACRL at 312-280-2520). Payment may be made by credit card only.
