IIL Web site Guidelines

Purpose

To provide quick and easy access to information about the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) Institute for Information Literacy (IIL), and related information literacy organizations, initiatives, and resources.

Scope

This site provides information about the Institute's purpose, structure, meetings, programs and publications, as well as selected links to related information literacy sites and publications. The roster of Advisory Board members provides full information for those who would like to make personal contact.

Maintenance

The IIL Chair and Advisory Board provide overall Web site direction. The IIL Chair and a member of the Advisory Board develop and make interim decisions about Web site content, subject to approval by the Advisory Board. The ACRL Office maintains the site, in consultation with the IIL Chair and Advisory Board, regarding Web site design.
