Best Practices Goal

Best Practices in Information Literacy Invitational Conference

The Best Practices Project Team hosted a National Invitational Conference in Atlanta, Georgia on June 11-13, 2002. In a competitive selection process, the Team identified ten institutions with information literacy programs that exemplify successful implementation of some of the characteristics of Best Practices and invited representatives from these institutions to the conference.

The institutional participants were:

A Webcast, which includes a free login, is also available on Best Practices Project: Preliminary Observations from the ACRL Information Literacy Initiative. This archive of a web cast includes audio, slides and chat room dialogue that focuses on some of the most important issues discussed at the Invitational Conference.
