and in subject-specific sources.
Demonstrates an understanding that different terminology may
be used in general sources and subject-specific sources.
Identifies alternate terminology, including synonyms, broader
or narrower words and phrases that describe a topic.
Identifies keywords that describe an information source (e.g.,
book, journal article, magazine article, Web site).

Practice:
Have students write topic down, then pass the sheet around and
have other students suggest keywords. Pick a topic appropriate
to demographic characteristics of the students; use a real life
application, have students developing own keywords, subjects.
