Join ACRL in Seattle for the 14th ACRL National Conference, March 12-15, 2009!

Join your colleagues at the premier professional development event for academic and research librarians and staff.  The ACRL 14th National Conference will challenge you to push your boundaries and promises the opportunity to explore new ideas, engage in new learning, and extend the collective vision of the future of academic and research libraries.

Engage in professional learning and development in both structured and informal settings.  In addition to program sessions, the conference planners are also building in time to have fun, share informal conversations and meals with colleagues, and explore Seattle.  ACRL will continue to offer virtual conference presentations and will embrace social networking tools in order to "amplify" the impact of the National Conference.  This year ACRL will implement more "green" practices than ever before, challenging us all to help reduce the meeting’s ecological footprint.  Bookmark this page and check back often for the latest details about the conference.  We look forward to seeing you in Seattle, March 12-15, 2009!

"The ACRL conference is like a battery; it lights you up and energizes you." - 2007 conference attendee

"As first professional conference, ACRL was a great place to get my feet wet! It was large enough to pull in well-known speakers and vendors, yet   small enough that as a newly minted MLIS, I didn't feel entirely overwhelmed." - 2007 conference attendee

"The ACRL National Conferences are among the very best that my profession offers in terms of both size and content."  - 2007 conference attendee

"There was so much to do and so many good programs to attend, that it was hard to pick and choose among them, all a testament to the continued creativity and engagement of academic librarians." - 2007 conference attendee
