Skits Performed at ALA Annual Conferences
by the ALA Committee on Professional Ethics
The ALA Committee on Professional Ethics creates and performs skits each year at the ALA Annual Conference.
These programs raise ethical questions that affect librarians and their customers, and provide an opportunity for librarians and library advocates to discuss those issues. (See ALA Code of Ethics.)
Librarians should feel free to use these scripts to create their own programs at local, regional, or division gatherings.
Some of our most popular scripts are available as PDFs on this site. Additional scripts can be obtained from the Office for Intellectual Freedom by writing oif@ala.org or calling 800-545-2433 ext. 4223.
