Information on the recipients of the 2002-3 American Library Association's Diversity Research Grants.

2002 - 2003 Diversity Research Grant Recipients

The first grant was awarded to Dr. Lorna Peterson, State University of New York at Buffalo, School of Informatics, Department of Library and Information Studies.  This project, "Integrating Diversity into Library School Curriculum", was submitted under this year's Research Topic 1 - Integrating Diversity into Library School Curriculum.

The second grant was awarded to Ashley Bonnette, University of Louisiana at Lafayette.  This project, "Strategies for Promoting Mentoring among Minorities", was submitted under this year's Research Topic 2 - Upward Mobility of Library Leaders from Underrepresented Populations.

The third grant was awarded to Rosi Andrade, Southwest Institute for Research on Women and Cheryl Knott Malone, University of Arizona School of Information Resources and Library Science.  This project, "From the Inside Out: Collaborating for Recruitment, Outreach and Diversity through the Promotion of Literacy", was submitted under this year's Research Topic 3 - Community Partnering & Resource Coalitions: A Networking Model for Successful Recruitment, Outreach and Diversity.
