"Implementing Flexible Scheduling in Elementary School Libraries"
Abstract: Flexible scheduling implementation in elementary school library media centers where funding was not contingent on flexible scheduling is explored. Data from telephone interviews of SLMSs, their administrators, and their teachers will lead to a better understanding of how to implement flexible scheduling and deal with variables that affect implementation.

"Assessing Pre-service Teachers' Knowledge of Library Media Programs: A Step to Improving Collaboration for Student Learning"
Abstract: The success of the Information Literacy Standards for Student Learning depends on teachers and library media specialists (LMS) working together. However, there is a low incidence of formal collaborative planning. This study proposes to assess the degree of awareness pre-service teachers have of library media programs and partnering with LMS.
