Resource-based learning is a student-centered learning environment in which the classroom teacher and the library media specialist collaborate, coach, or guide the student in analyzing his or her information needs, locating the information in any of a wide variety of formats or locations, analyzing and synthesizing the information, and finally applying or evaluating the results. The publications in this bibliography are recommended for their relative recency (1990), as well as for the variety of perspective and attention to specific aspects of the method.
