Speak Out for Banned BooksBanned Books Week brings together the entire book community — librarians, booksellers, publishers, journalists, teachers, and readers of all types — in shared support of the freedom to seek and to express ideas. This year, the Little Free Library nonprofit and Little Library stewards are getting in on the action!

The American Library Association's Office for Intellectual Freedom and the Freedom to Read Foundation are joining forces with Little Free Library to "Speak Out for Banned Books" through an exciting giveaway! 80 packages of banned books will be given away to registered Little Free Library stewards with the goal of spreading banned books in communities around the country!

Each banned book package will include:

To enter to win, fill out the form below! You must be a registered steward and know your charter number to qualify. Entry period ends on August 28, 2018. Limit one book package per steward. Please enter to win only once. Open to stewards in the U.S. only. 80 winners will be randomly selected and notified by email. Books will ship by early September.

We'd love to see pictures of banned books in Little Libraries social media! Use hashtag #BannedBooksWeek so that we may share your photos!
