ACRL/STS Information Literacy Framework Task Force

Charge

The ACRL STS Information Literacy Framework Task Force will adapt the Framework for Information Literacy for Higher Education to the sciences. In addition to performing a literature review, the task force will solicit STS membership input to develop specific outcomes and assessment techniques for the six frames, as they relate to science information literacy.  The task force will share a progress update during the 2017 Annual Conference. The official Framework for Science Information Literacy for Higher Education will be slated for approval at the STS Council Meeting during the 2018 Midwinter Meeting.

Get Involved

Volunteers will need to complete the volunteer form by February 15 for committee service that begins July 1. More information, including volunteer requirements, can be found on the ACRL volunteer site.
