ACRL/STS Science Resources: Discovery & Access Committee
Charge
To provide a forum for exchange of information relating to discovery of and access to science and technology resources. Serve as a channel/clearinghouse to identify concerns, problems, issues, trends, standards, and best practices. Propose projects and present them to the appropriate STS Committees.

Committee meeting times and locations
Our meetings are typically on Saturday mornings; exact time and location will be announced as the information becomes available. Visitors are most welcome.
Current Project
The committee is continuing to work on a publication exploring the successes and failures of access to theses, dissertations, and ETDs in the sciences and technology. The 'working title' of the publication is:
"Subject and bibliographic access to electronic theses and dissertations (ETDs) in the sciences and technology via digital institutional repositories and OPACs: perspectives from U.S. and U.K sci-tech librarians."
