The RBMS Task Force to Review the ACRL Code of Ethics for Special Collections Librarians (hereafter “Task Force”) is responsible for the review and development of the ACRL Code of Ethics for Special Collections Librarians ("Code of Ethics"), which states our professional values and the principles for ethical conduct in special collections work. The Task Force will review the 2003 Code of Ethics with a focus on expanding the scope of professional ethical duties therein described, and ensuring that the document empowers special collections professionals to incorporate ethical practice into their organizational and individual work.
