ACRL/IS Web Site Revision Task Force

Charge

Examine the Instruction Section Web Site and propose a new navigation structure and content organization.  The proposal will provide recommendations to: 1) identify needed revisions, additions, or deletions related to the content, 2) improve navigation to content, 3) determine if content should reside in a different location such as ALA Connect.  The Task Force will work with key user groups such as the IS Advisory Council, to identify current issues and to test usability of proposed changes.  The Task Force will work with necessary ACRL web liaisons to determine technological limits, such as editing permission restrictions, within the identified web spaces.  Proposed changes should conform to all appropriate ALA, ACRL, and IS policies and procedures.  The Task Force will develop a proposal for modifications, to be submitted to the ACRL IS Executive Committee by Annual Conference 2013.  A final report will document decisions made during the review and revision of the site.
