ACRL Communities of Practice Implementation Task Force

Charge

Recommending policies and models for specific operational details for communities of practice specifically those related to communications, appointments, elections, funding and review for sections. Consulting with appropriate groups such as the budget and finance committee; and gathering stakeholder input to inform their recommendations. Proposing any necessary revisions to the ACRL bylaws, ACRL guide to policies and procedures, and related documentation by May 2012.

The Communities of Practice Implementation Task Force was established by the ACRL Board of Directors at the 2011 Annual Conference.
