EDUCATION TASK FORCE
To promote and facilitate legal and/or political science research and library instruction projects of our members, report works in progress and disseminate results; act as a resource and information-sharing vehicle for those who teach law and/or political science research in information literacy courses in consort with the LPSS Library Instruction Committee. Prior to ALA Midwinter Meetings and Annual Conferences, provide the LPSS Executive Committee with a progress report and recommendations about the work of the task force.

PUBLICATIONS COMMITTEE
Plans and reviews the content of LPSS News, the semi-annual section newsletter. Establishes newsletter policies, solicits/submits articles, reviews, and other pertinent information of interest to section members. Assists the editor in the production of the newsletter and maintains the website and the membership manual.
