ACRL Bylaws and Strategic Plan

There are two major documents that form the foundation for ACRL activities: the Bylaws and the Strategic Plan. The Bylaws codify the structure of the Association and specify how the Association operates. The Strategic Plan outlines the mission, goals, and objectives of the Association. Section funding requests are much more likely to be successful if they can be shown to support the ACRL Strategic Plan. Section strategic plans should be linked to the ACRL plan where appropriate. The Section Chair is asked from time to time to report to ACRL on how the Section's activities are supporting the ACRL Strategic Plan. One of the responsibilities of the LES Planning Committee is to assist the chair in preparing these reports.
