The Web companion to SLJ.  Find selected full-test articles, editorials, software reviews and news from the world of libraries free of charge.  There is a charge for the full subscription.

School Library Media Research (SLMR)
The official journal of the American Association of School Librarians.  The journal provides refereed articles on school library media theory and practice.

The ALAN Review
The official publication of the Assembly on Literature for Adolescents, a special-interest group of the National Council of Teachers of English.  Published three times per year, the journal offers articles, interviews with authors, book reviews, and more.

ECRP:  Early Childhood Research & Practice
Covers topics related to the development, care, and education of children from birth to approximately age 8. Published biannually.

Education Week
Provides something for everyone.  There are links to current events information, teaching resources on the Web, and awards and grants deadlines in the Teacher Magazine section.  Updated daily, the Daily News section pulls the best articles on education from newspapers around the country.  There are also job postings, book and software reviews, and a searchable archive.  A new issue is posted each week and the electronic version is available free of charge.

Electronic School Online
A quarterly publication created to enhance student learning through the judicious use of technology.  Find articles, software reviews, and information on the application of technology in the schools.  It is accessible free of charge.

NEA Today
A publication of the National Education Association, exploring "today's toughest teaching challenges--and solutions".  Published eight times per year, September to May.

Rethinking Schools
This quarterly educational provides analysis of policy debates and alerts teachers to innovative classroom practices, with an emphasis on urban education and racial equity.

Teacher Magazine
Provides feature articles, news on current events and research, editorials, and other information pertinent to practicing teachers.  It is distributed monthly free of charge.

Teacher Talk
Offers articles, commentary, and suggestions on a wide variety of useful topics for primary and secondary education teachers.  It is published three times per year.  Access this text-based magazine free of charge.
