The Community and Junior College Libraries Section (CJCLS) is a section of the Association of College and Research Libraries, a division of the American Library Association. CJCLS contributes to library service and librarianship through those activities which relate to libraries and learning resources centers and services and which support the educational programs in community and junior colleges and equivalent institutions.

Congratulations to the College of Western Idaho Library! The College of Western Idaho Library was the recipient of the 2019 Excellence in Academic Libraries Award in the community college category.  

CJCLS Webinar - OER in the Community College Library - Experiences from Two Librarians!

Have you heard about Open Educational Resources (OER)? What are they? How can librarians participate in (or lead) OER discussions at their institutions and in the academic community? Join us to learn more about OER in community college libraries! We will have the opportunity to learn from two librarians working closely with OER. Jennifer Snoek-Brown, Tacoma Community College, will share experiences from a single-institution implementation. Brittany Dudek, Colorado Community Colleges Online, will share the statewide efforts in Colorado.

We welcome all community college librarians to join us for this FREE informative and exciting program!
