Join the Spectrum Leadership Circle

Thank you for your support of Spectrum, an initiative that has provided over 900 students with a $6500 scholarship and personalized support to help them succeed in the library and information science profession. I invite you to renew your commitment by making a gift to Spectrum and join us in recruiting applicants for 2016-2017 scholarships by encouraging individuals to visit www.ala.org/spectrum!

This amazing program does so much more than provide monetary support for students in LIS programs across the country – it connects people with an amazingly diverse group of professionals that have a stake in their success, and often creates friendships and mentoring relationships that last beyond the LIS master’s program.  The connections I made through Spectrum and ALA have made a tremendous impact on me personally and professionally.

Every donation helps nurture future scholars !  I thank our alumni for the gift of their time, mentoring and donations.  We also recognize the generosity of individual donors who make annual gifts of $500 or more and organizations that contribute $1000 or more through the Spectrum Leadership Circle.

You can donate online at http://ala.org/giveala (login is required) or mail checks payable to ALA Spectrum to the ALA Development Office at 50 E. Huron St., Chicago, IL 60611. And consider using the hashtag #alaSpectrum to share about why you give and to help us broadly promote the Spectrum cause.
