We had another great lineup of international and local presenters assembled this year. ALA’s President Jim Neal and Khaled Mohamed Emam Elhalaby, President of the Arab Federation for Libraries and Information (AFLI), headlined this year’s conference. Neal, University Librarian Emeritus at Columbia University, provided an inspirational thought provoking start to the conference with "Libraries Transform- Libraries Lead- Libraries Fight." Emam Elhalaby, maped out the road ahead with “Libraries in the MENA Region Moving Forward: From Tradition to Transformation.”
