AASL extends application deadline for SLR volunteer editor position

AASL has extended the deadline for applications for the position of Editor for its online journal, School Library Research. Applicants with experience in scholarly research and publishing interested in serving as an Editor or Co-editor now have until May 31, 2013, to submit their application.

AASL Seeks Volunteer Editor for SLR

AASL is seeking a volunteer editor for its peer-reviewed online research journal, School Library Research (SLR). The responsibilities of the editor include setting the scope and tone of the journal, managing editorial activities and the refereeing process and soliciting high-quality articles. Additional information on responsibilities, qualifications and the application process is available at www.ala.org/aasl/slr/editor.

Welcome to School Library Research (SLR), the newly revamped continuation of the American Association of School Librarian’s prestigious, refereed research journal. Along with the new logo and name change, which debuted last month, this website features all new navigation, formatting and features. Changes include:
