The September/October 2010 issue of Knowledge Quest centers on the theme, "Intellectual Freedom Online" and highlights such topics as censorship, integrating web 2.0 technologies into education, and teaching the ethical use of social technology. This issue was guest edited by Helen R. Adams, online instructor for Mansfield University in Pennsylvania, chair of the AASL Intellectual Freedom Committee, and AASL liaison to the Freedom to Read Foundation Board. Helen also wrote the feature, "Intellectual Freedom Online: The New Battleground for Minors' First Amendment Rights," and conducted the interview for "Filtering Texas-Style: An Interview with Michael Gras and Scott Floyd."
