Overview

This grant is designed to help AASL chapters plan and execute an event, program, or activity focused on the implementation of the new AASL National School Library Standards.

Eligibility

Applicant must be a current AASL Chapter.

Criteria

All applicants for the grant will be judged against the following criteria:

  1. Objectives: are the program objectives clearly stated?
  2. Calendar: is there a timeline for implementing the plan, including pre-planning and followup?
  3. Budget: is a detailed budget of expenses included?
  4. Innovation: does the plan express a fresh or unique approach to training?
  5. Continuation: beyond initial program participation, does the plan include an opportunity for sharing with the entire organization statewide?
  6. Replication: Could other AASL chapters replicate the plan easily?
