Statement of Professional Concerns:
In running for Member-At Large for the AASL Board of Directors, my purpose is to work to further the current efforts of AASL in promoting school librarianship. AASL has provided me with educational, professional and leadership opportunities. I would like to give back to the organization by working on the Board to continue to promote and advocate for school librarians. I believe that AASL will continue to be a strong association for those in the school library media field through the participation of the members. My past participation in the organization gives me skills which I believe will be of benefit in working on the AASL Board and with the AASL membership at large.
