Webinar Objectives
The participants will:

Be able to identify ethical issues objectives in content standards.

Be familiar with ethical issues that can be taught through the school library program.

Have access to resources they can adapt and use in order to teach ethical issues and the other 21st-century skills outlined in the "responsibilities" section.
Meet the presenter
Gail Dickinson is associate professor of school librarianship at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. She was co-chair of the AASL Learning Standards Task Force, and has conducted several workshops on using and teaching the Standards. Gail is currently chair of the Educator of Library Media Specialists Section (ELMSS) and is actively involved in the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education. Gail has been a K-12 building level librarian, a library supervisor, and is now a library professor. Her research interests are learning standards implementation, school library preparation, and issues of program administration. She is currently Editor-in-Chief of Library Media Connection magazine.

Anyone that purchases the L4L Webinars will receive one (1) contact hour per webinar. Upon purchase, a certificate will be mailed. AASL is not an accredited agency. The participant is responsible for exchanging the contact hour for continuing education (CE) credit through their district.
